Yellow Pepper

This little painting is also part of the Strada Challenge I completed. The day's lesson for me was on brushstrokes. Try as I may, some times the brush has a mind of it's own and you end up with a bunch of painting strokes that look like clones. My goal, try not to repeat myself and make the painting look interesting. Harder than it sounds, for me. What are you working on?

  1. Wow. What a wonderful little painting, Blanche.
Big round of applause for the great brushwork... but your use of color is perfect too.

  2. Thanks Julie, I'll cartwheel back to the studio and continue working. Working with more paint is also helping.
