This painting depicts the farmland in LaConner, WA. one of my favorite places to paint plain air. I did this 8x10 oil on linen after a series of workshops taken. Sometimes, you paint the same way, using the same colors and techniques and need to shaken. So, I stopped posting and did on-line workshops in watercolor, pen & ink sketching. Also, I watched numerous instructional downloads and took notes as if I were in a classroom situation.
I feel recharged like a new battery and ready to share. The rest of the summer will be experimenting with new skills I hope.
